As reported by WBNS-TV, The Ohio State University Police Division (OSUPD) has expanded its joint patrol program in partnership with the Columbus Division of Police (CPD).
Lyft Ride Smart at Ohio State offers eligible students discounted rides from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. inside the university-designated service area. For those new to the program, Ohio State will contribute $6.50, per ride, and the remainder will be paid by the rider.
Since launching the Community Crime Map in Spring 2022, The Ohio State University has continued to refine the customized crime reporting tool.
