Neighborhood Safety Notice - Arrest Update

We are sharing this news on behalf of the Grove City Division of Police, Columbus Division of Police and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation for a crime that occurred in the off-campus area:

The Grove City Division of Police has made an arrest in the Reagan Tokes murder investigation. We are thankful to our law enforcement partners and relieved that this investigation has identified a suspect. We will continue to support our law enforcement partners as needed. As always, the safety and well-being of our community is our first priority. The university extends its deepest sympathy to her family and friends. Counseling and consultation services are available for those in need of support.

ARREST MADE IN THE REAGAN D. TOKES MURDER

The Grove City Division of Police arrested Brian Lee Golsby, DOB 01/26/1988, in connection with the murder of Reagan D. Tokes.

Reagan’s body was found at Scioto Grove Metro Park Thursday, Feb. 9.

Brian L. Golsby is charged with Aggravated Murder, Aggravated Kidnapping and Aggravated Robbery.

The case involved the teamwork with the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI), the Columbus Division of Police and The Ohio State University Police Division.

The City of Grove City extends its deepest sympathy to Tokes’ family and friends.
