The Ohio State University Police Division swore in three new police officers during a ceremony on February 9. Officers Bruce Allen, Kyle Yeager and Chris Dzubak took the oath of office from Andraea Douglass, senior vice president in the Office of Human Resources.
Officer Allen graduated from Ohio State and previously worked as a trooper for the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Officer Dzubak was born and raised in Edison, New Jersey and received his bachelor’s degree from Misericordia University in Pennsylvania. He most recently worked as a security officer for U.S. Protection Service.
Officer Yeager received his degree from Ohio State and was raised in Newark. He previously worked for the Ohio State Highway Patrol and as an officer for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.
A formal badge-pinning ceremony will take place at Blankenship Hall later this month.
Two of the officers are filling vacancies, while one is filling a new position.
