We are sharing the below information on behalf of the Columbus Division of Police regarding a crime that occurred in the off-campus area.
On 7/20/2021, just before 9 p.m., officers responded to a shooting that occurred on High Street, just north of Lane Avenue. Officers are actively investigating the incident and initial details are limited. Early reports indicate that one victim was shot and transported to the Wexner Medical Center in stable condition. The victim is not an Ohio State student, faculty or staff member.
Three male suspects were seen fleeing southbound in a blue Dodge Ram truck. Suspect details are limited. Anyone with information related to this crime is encouraged to call the Columbus Division of Police at 614-645-4545.
