On 12/9/2021, at approximately 6:30 p.m., an armed robbery was reported to police. The crime occurred at the United Dairy Farmers (UDF) located at 1680 N. High Street. A male suspect showed a handgun and took money from the cash register before fleeing the area. No injuries were reported.

On 11/11/2021 at approximately 5:55 p.m., a robbery occurred on East 12th Avenue, just east of Summit Street, near the alley. The victim is not an Ohio State student, faculty or staff member.

On 11/7/2021, at approximately 2:05 a.m., a robbery occurred on W. Oakland Ave. Reports indicate that three people, including one Ohio State student, were together when approached by an unknown vehicle. A male suspect exited the car, pointed a gun and demanded their belongings. After robbing the victims, the suspect got back in the small silver sedan driven by a female suspect and fled the area toward Neil Avenue. No injuries were reported.

On 9/26/2021, at approximately 3:18 a.m., three Ohio State students were walking southbound on Indianola Avenue, near Woodruff Avenue, when a black Honda Accord stopped next to them. Two males, reported to be between the ages of 17 and 21, produced handguns, and demanded the victims’ property. The suspects exited the vehicle to commit the robbery, then returned to the car and fled the area along with their driver. No injuries were reported.

On 09/21/2021, at approximately 11 p.m., an Ohio State student was walking off-campus near Indianola and Woodruff avenues when a vehicle approached. Multiple male suspects were in the vehicle and were yelling to try to get the student’s attention. From a distance, one suspect showed a gun from the backseat and demanded the victim’s belongings. However, the suspects fled before taking any property. No injuries were reported.

On 09/16/2021, at approximately 3 p.m., Columbus Police responded to a shooting in the area of 1900 N. 4th Street. The victim is not an Ohio State student, faculty or staff member. Details are limited at this time but CPD confirms that one person was shot and later died at the hospital.
