On 5/30/2021, at approximately 1 a.m., Columbus Police responded to the intersection of North High Street and East Maynard Avenue on a reported robbery. Three victims, one of which is an Ohio State student, reported that they were in the nearby alley when a suspect approached them, showed a handgun, and demanded their property. The victims complied and the suspect fled in a silver car. No injuries were reported.

On 4/9/2021, at approximately 2 p.m., a robbery occurred at the United Dairy Farmers (UDF) located off-campus at 1680 N. High St. A UDF employee confronted two male shoplifters outside the store and reports indicate the suspects pointed a handgun at him before fleeing eastbound. No injuries were reported.

On 3/5/2021, around 2:46 a.m., a strong-arm robbery and assault occurred behind the McDonald’s located off-campus at 1972 N. High Street. An Ohio State student and his friend were walking together when an unknown suspect approached, knocked him to the ground and stole property. The student suffered injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.

On 2/26/2021, at approximately 3 a.m., two unknown males entered Buckeye Donuts located off-campus at 1998 N. High Street. One suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money from the register. The suspects took the money and fled the area. No injuries were reported.

On 2/17/2021, at approximately 7:25 a.m., an Ohio State female student was walking off-campus, along E 13th Avenue, when an unknown male approached and asked her for money. When she turned to walk away the suspect grabbed her, groped her, and sprayed her with an unknown substance that the student described as possibly being mace. The student screamed and the suspect let her go before fleeing the area in an unknown direction.
