We are sharing the below information on behalf of the Columbus Division of Police regarding a crime that occurred in the off-campus area.
On 5/30/2021, at approximately 1 a.m., Columbus Police responded to the intersection of North High Street and East Maynard Avenue on a reported robbery. Three victims, one of which is an Ohio State student, reported that they were in the nearby alley when a suspect approached them, showed a handgun, and demanded their property. The victims complied and the suspect fled in a silver car. No injuries were reported.
