Neighborhood Safety Notice:
We are sharing the below information on behalf of the Columbus Division of Police for a crime that occurred in the off-campus area.
Two armed robberies occurred on Sunday (11/25/18) in the off-campus area near Chittenden Avenue and Pearl Street. Information about the first crime was shared on social media by Ohio State’s Emergency Management division. Due to a second crime occurring, similar in nature, we are sending a Neighborhood Safety Notice to make the campus aware of the crime trend.

Neighborhood Safety Notice:
We are sharing the below information on behalf of the Columbus Division of Police for a crime that occurred in the off-campus area.
On 8/19/18, at approximately 3:54 a.m., the Columbus Division of Police responded to the area of E. 14th Avenue and High Street on the report of a Robbery that had just occurred. A female Ohio State student reported that she was approached by an unknown male that struck her in the face, took her purse and ran north bound on Pearl Street. Reports indicate that no weapon was shown.

Neighborhood Safety Notice:
We are sharing the below information on behalf of the Columbus Division of Police for a crime that occurred in the off-campus area.
On 8/4/18, at approximately 1 a.m., police were notified of an off-campus crime that took place on the 200 block of E. 15th Avenue. Two females not affiliated with the university reported that they were approached in an alley by an unknown male who presented a gun and demanded their purses. The suspect then fled southbound in a small silver/gray car. No injuries were reported.

We are sharing the below information on behalf of the Columbus Division of Police for a crime that occurred in the off-campus area.
On 7/14/18 at approximately 5:25 a.m., an armed robbery occurred off-campus at the corner of E. 14th Ave. and N. Pearl St. The victim, who is an Ohio State affiliate, reported, while walking in the area of E. 14th Ave. and N. Pearl St., he was struck from behind by two unknown males and knocked to the ground. The victim reported that he believed both suspects were armed with handguns.

On 4/27/18, at approximately 6 a.m., a crime occurred at an off-campus residence located along Harley Drive, west of Olentangy River Road. Reports indicate that an unknown male committed burglary and sexual assault at the residence of a female student.

Neighborhood Safety Notice:
We are sharing this news on behalf of the Columbus Division of Police for a crime that occurred in the off-campus area.
On 11/15/17, at approximately 7:50 p.m., a male Ohio State student was robbed at gunpoint in the area of the 100 block of E. 14th Avenue. The student reported to CPD that two unknown males stole his backpack and fled away from campus in a gray van. No injuries were reported and suspect details are limited.

On 11/3/17, at approximately 9:19 p.m., a female Ohio State student was walking in the off-campus area and was assaulted by an unknown male. She reported to Columbus Police that she was walking with friends near the intersection of Frambes Ave. and Waldeck Ave.
