The Ohio State University Police Division has a suspect in custody in relation to the June 23 incident that led to a Public Safety Notice.
David W. Canter was arrested and charged with kidnapping and rape. The Ohio State University Police Division would like to thank the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Columbus Division of Police for assisting in the timely identification and apprehension of Mr. Canter.
