We are sharing the below information on behalf of the Columbus Division of Police for a crime that occurred in the off-campus area.
On 9/25/2020, at approximately 11:18 p.m., the Columbus Division of Police responded to the 100 block of Chittenden Avenue for a reported robbery at gunpoint.
Reports indicate that two female students were approached from behind by four male suspects as they were walking eastbound toward their residence. One victim stated she was pushed in the chest by one of the suspects who then pointed a handgun towards her and demanded her phone and the password. The other victim stated she was pushed to the ground by a different suspect who demanded her phone and the password. No injuries were reported.
