Police have the suspect in custody in relation to the incident that led to the issuance of a public safety notice on March 24, 2023. The suspect was charged with burglary.
Reports indicate a male suspect followed students who used their IDs to swipe (tailgated) into Scott House Residence Hall and proceeded into a women’s restroom. An Ohio State student reported that the suspect knocked on her shower stall door and waved for her to join him in another stall. The student left the area immediately. No injuries were reported.
The Ohio State University Police Division would like to thank the Columbus Division of Police for assisting in the apprehension of the suspect.
