We are sharing the below information on behalf of the Columbus Division of Police for a crime that occurred in the off-campus area.
On 5/10/2020, at approximately 12:45 a.m., a male Ohio State student was walking in the area of Indianola and E. 18th avenues when he was attacked by three unknown males. Reports indicate that the suspects approached in a silver sedan. They exited the vehicle and began yelling and physically assaulted the victim. They then chased him toward the area of Indianola and 12th avenues. One of the suspects threatened that he had a gun, although a weapon was not seen. Before fleeing the area, the suspects drove their vehicle at the victim.
