We are sharing the below information on behalf of the Columbus Division of Police regarding a crime that occurred in the off-campus area.
On 7/8/2021, just after midnight, a male Ohio State student was walking in the area of 82 E. Woodruff Avenue when he was approached by a gold sedan with three unknown male suspects. Reports indicate that one of the suspects exited the vehicle and punched the victim before taking his wallet and cell phone. The suspect returned to the vehicle and fled with the other suspects. The student suffered a laceration to the forehead and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
