Ohio State’s Department of Public Safety Central Campus Security Services division will debut new uniforms Monday, Dec. 5. University Police uniforms will not change. Campus security officers, like other divisions of Public Safety, including University Police, Student Safety Service and others, make safety a priority and it is important the campus community can easily identify safety personnel. Anyone needing assistance should call the Department of Public Safety’s main line at 614-292-2121 or dial 9-1-1 in emergencies.
The majority of the Central Campus Security Services division will migrate to this new uniform on December 5 . The Central Campus Security Services staff at the Wexner Center for the Arts will transition at the beginning of the year. The university community will notice the new uniforms first at the Schottenstein Center, 18th Avenue Library, Blackwell Hotel, Residential Life Districts and various patrols throughout the Columbus campus.
