Police Make Arrests Related to Overnight Crime

The Ohio State University Police Division has two suspects in custody in relation to the January 22, 2022 stabbing incident that led to a series of three Buckeye Alert messages sent overnight.

Suspect number one was arrested and charged with felonious assault while a second suspect was charged with tampering with evidence. Reports indicate that an altercation in the Ohio Union South Garage resulted in one victim being stabbed. Police searched the area, located and arrested the suspects. The victim was transported to the hospital in stable condition. The suspects, and victim, are not Ohio State students, faculty or staff. There is no ongoing threat to safety related to this incident. Due to an ongoing investigation, there are no additional details available at this time.
