Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. OSUPD Officer: All of us are being more cautious

The Ohio State University Police Division Lt. Brandon Yankanin recently submitted an open letter as part of the Alumni Magazine's "From Our Home ... And Yours" series. Yankanin recounts how coronavirus has impacted life on campus through the eyes of a police officer. Below is a snippet.

Yankanin said: "I feel bad that students’ college experiences are marred by the pandemic. They’re missing out on a lot. But everyone is coping as well as they can, and faculty, staff and students have been good about wearing their masks. All of us are being more cautious in order to limit the spread of the virus, including our officers, who don’t want to bring it home to our families."
