The Ohio State University Police Division Lt. Brandon Yankanin recently submitted an open letter as part of the Alumni Magazine's "From Our Home ... And Yours" series. Yankanin recounts how coronavirus has impacted life on campus through the eyes of a police officer. Below is a snippet and the full letter is available in the Alumni Magazine's winter edition.
Yankanin said: "I feel bad that students’ college experiences are marred by the pandemic. They’re missing out on a lot. But everyone is coping as well as they can, and faculty, staff and students have been good about wearing their masks. All of us are being more cautious in order to limit the spread of the virus, including our officers, who don’t want to bring it home to our families."
