The Ohio State University Police Division (OSUPD) is hosting a free Empowerment and Self-Defense Training for Ohio State students. The course will be held on Tuesday, September 29 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the OSUPD Gateway Substation, located on 11th Avenue just east of High Street. Taught by certified instructors, this comprehensive, one-day course begins with awareness education, prevention, risk reduction and risk avoidance, and progresses to the basics of hands-on defense training.
