Your Safety is a Top Priority

The official start of spring is a little more than one month away and as the weather warms up, police are asking everyone to look out for their fellow Buckeyes. When traveling on campus, follow these safety tips:
The Ohio State University Police Division (OSUPD) Chief Kimberly Spears-McNatt was one of six panelists at Sunday’s JewishColumbus Law Enforcement Town Hall.
The Ohio State University’s Department of Public Safety hosted its 5th annual drive-through event to collect donations curbside.
The department collected 1,322 toys, breaking the 2022 record of 800. All items collected are distributed to kids throughout central Ohio via the United States Marines Toys for Tots program.
Before you head home for winter break, consider how to secure your campus residence for the days or weeks you’ll be away. Take valuables, like cash, credit cards or electronics with you. Off-campus, lock all doors and windows and consider leaving outdoor lights on.
As highlighted by The Lantern, The Ohio State University Department of Public Safety has some tips for students to safely secure their homes before traveling for the holidays.
