Students can obtain free safety devices for their homes, including window and door alarms as well as light timers. Disconnect electrical extensions.

In the News: New K9 Officer
The Lantern published a story on Ty, OSUPD's newest K9 Officer. The 2-year-old German shepherd from France joins a team of dogs that perform sweeps of Ohio Stadium and other event venues.
"A huge component of why we have dogs on campus is for homeland security," Officer Kyle Yeager told The Lantern. "Dogs have come to the forefront of for keeping large events safe."
