The Lantern recently published an article about Ohio's new distracted driving law. Beginning April 4, distracted driving was promoted to a primary offense in the State of Ohio. If police see you texting and driving on, or after, April 4 they will have the discretion to pull drivers over for violations.

As reported by the outlet, with the help of security cameras in Scott House, the University Police division identified and soon after arrested the man who broke into the residence hall.

Police Make Arrest Related to Burglary
Police have the suspect in custody in relation to the incident that led to the issuance of a public safety notice on March 24, 2023. The suspect was charged with burglary.
