OSUPD observing National Police Week

The Ohio State University Police Division is observing National Police Week from May 15 - 21, 2017. In 1962, President John F. Kennedy signed a proclamation making May 15 Peace Officers Memorial Day. Ever since, the week of May 15 has been designated as National Police Week. It's an annual tribute to the officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice, along with officers who put their lives on the line each day for the safety of the communities they serve. OSUPD will be recognizing several of its officers on social media throughout the week. Follow @OSUPolice on Twitter.
