Winter weather to impact Ohio State campuses

All campuses of The Ohio State University are under a winter weather advisory beginning at noon on Monday.

According to the National Weather Service, the heavy rainfall that began overnight will change over to snow this morning. The Lima, Columbus and Mansfield campuses will see snowfall first.

Snowfall on Monday will result in little to no accumulation due to the warm surface temperatures. Monday afternoon and evening, snow will begin to accumulate and will continue through the day on Tuesday, finally tapering off Wednesday morning or early afternoon.

Lima and Mansfield can expect the most snow, with 6 to 8 inches expected in Lima and 4 to 6 inches in Mansfield. Columbus, Newark, Marion and Wooster can expect between 3 and 4 inches of snow.
