Registration for The Ohio State University Police Division’s free Community Police Academy opens February 17. It’s a four-week program that meets every Wednesday from 6 – 9 p.m. starting March 18. Participants learn how OSUPD handles building searching, investigations, body cameras and several other law enforcement topics. The comprehensive instruction includes open discussion and scenario-based role playing to give participants a first-hand experience. Open to Ohio State students, faculty and staff. Space is limited.
