Off-duty law enforcement concealed carry policy

Off-duty, sworn law enforcement officials employed full-time by The Ohio State University Police Division, the City of Columbus Division of Police, Franklin County Sheriff’s Office or the Ohio State Highway Patrol, who are in compliance with all applicable legal requirements, are permitted to carry a concealed firearm on university property located within the jurisdiction of their home agency.

Off-duty law enforcement concealed carry policy (Schottenstein Center)

Permitted officers will be required to check in with Law Enforcement at any gate prior to entering the Schottenstein Center and to follow all protocols and check-in procedures established by the university. Officers will be required to present their agency ID card and badge. Off-duty law enforcement from all other agencies are not permitted to carry a firearm inside the venue.

Permitted officers will be required to check in with Law Enforcement at the Press Entrance (near Gate 23). Officers will be required to present their agency ID card and badge. Off-duty law enforcement from all other agencies are not permitted to carry a firearm inside the venue.
