You are receiving this notice because a crime has occurred that is considered to be of a concern and/or a continuing threat to the campus community.

The purpose of this message is to heighten your safety awareness by providing community members with information necessary to take appropriate precautions, enable you to take actions to help increase your safety, and to aid in the prevention of similar crimes.

The following crime occurred in:
Residence Halls

On 2/13/22 at approximately 11:17 p.m. a robbery was reported to university police. A male not affiliated with Ohio State, meaning not a student, faculty or staff member, reported that he was approached near Baker Hall West (129 West 12th Avenue) by three or four unknown male suspects. The suspects stole the victim’s cell phone, struck the victim in the face several times and fled eastbound on 12th Avenue in a black, mid-sized SUV. The victim was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
