The following crime occurred in:
Residence Halls
On 3/17/16, at approximately 5:30 p.m., a male student reported a robbery which took place on the second floor of the Buckeye Village Community Center. The suspect approached the student, implied he had a gun, and punched him in the face several times prior to taking his computer and cell phone. Police immediately responded to secure the area and informed nearby facilities while searching for the suspect who had fled the scene.
 
The suspect is described as a white male standing 5’6” tall and weighing 160 pounds. He has a black beard and mustache and was wearing a black sweatshirt with the letters “HBA” printed on it, black pants and a black hat.
 
The safety of our community is our top priority. Police will maintain a visible presence with extra patrols in the Buckeye Village and the northwest part of campus throughout the night. As always, if you see something suspicious, say something immediately: call University Police at 614-292-2121 or Columbus Police at 614-645-4545. Always call 9-1-1 in emergencies.
