You are receiving this notice because a crime has occurred that is considered to be of a concern and/or a continuing threat to the campus community.
The purpose of this message is to heighten your safety awareness by providing community members with information necessary to take appropriate precautions, enable you to take actions to help increase your safety, and to aid in the prevention of similar crimes.
Although several Timely Warnings have been issued for a series of robberies in the campus community this notice is being issued based on different suspect information. On 11/20/11 at 12:57 a.m. a male and female (both non-students) reported to Columbus Police that they were robbed at gunpoint at the rear of 1944 Iuka Ave. by two individuals. Suspect #1 Male/White, 20-25 years old, 5'9 170 lbs. full beard and mustache. Suspect #2 Male/White, 20- 25 years old, 5'9 170 lbs. One suspect was described as wearing reading glasses; one suspect had a black handgun thought to be a 9MM pistol. Both were wearing 'dark hoodies.'
