You are receiving this notice because a crime has occurred that is considered to be of a concern and/or a continuing threat to the campus community.

The purpose of this message is to heighten your safety awareness by providing community members with information necessary to take appropriate precautions, enable you to take actions to help increase your safety, and to aid in the prevention of similar crimes.

The following crime occurred in the campus area

On 09-14-09 a non affiliated female reported that she was assaulted and robbed in the area of West 17th Ave at/near College Rd. The incident took place on 09-12-09 at about 11:45 p.m. shortly after the conclusion of the OSU-USC football game. The victim stated that she was attacked by two unknown male whites of college age, 20-25 years old. She noted that the attack came from behind her and she was taken to the ground and beaten by one individual. The second individual went through her purse removing cash and sunglasses. Both fled the area in an unknown direction.
