You are receiving this notice because a crime has occurred that is considered to be of a concern and/or a continuing threat to the campus community.
The purpose of this message is to heighten your safety awareness by providing community members with information necessary to take appropriate precautions, enable you to take actions to help increase your safety, and to aid in the prevention of similar crimes.
On March 2, 2009 at about 10:30 p.m. a female was robbed of a purse and contents in the area of West 10th. Ave., just east of Neil Ave. The suspects were two African American males, both 25-30 years of age.
The primary suspect was described as 6’1"-6’3", dark skin, wearing a gray hoodie sweatshirt, black pants and a black skull cap. Suspect number two was 5’11" with a muscular build, black clothing and black skull cap. The suspects verbally threatened the victim. No weapon was seen or implied. The suspects fled eastbound towards High Street after forcibly taking the purse.
