OSUPD Welcomes New Officer with Pinning Ceremony

As students head back to campus for the start of autumn semester, The Ohio State University Police Division (OSUPD) welcomed a new officer to its division with a pinning ceremony on August 18, 2023. “I’m so excited to be here,” said Officer Corey Manley. “Ever since I was little, I’ve loved the Buckeyes.”

New or ongoing construction may have changed the way you drive, walk or travel to work or class since you were last on campus. Pay particular attention to areas near the medical center, Cannon Drive and Woodruff Avenue where roadways and sidewalks may be impacted by construction.

With students returning for move-in this week at Ohio State's Columbus campus, police and security are out in full force. As reported by ABC6, since implementing new security measures, like license plate readers, more lights and cameras, Ohio State says:

"Crime is actually down in the university district since those enhancements began a few years ago."
