The Ohio State University wants student artists to participate in the first ever sidewalk chalk art contest in conjunction with Share the Road. Please join us on Thursday, September 9 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Wexner Center of the Arts Plaza near 15th and High Street. Up to $175 worth of prizes will be up for grabs but space is limited so please complete the online form to guarantee your spot.
Each contestant will be given a 2’ x 2’ area on the sidewalk to chalk their traffic safety related artwork. Event attendees will vote on their favorite art and the winner will receive a $100 gift card! The top five vote getters will then have their art shared on the @OhioStateAP Instagram account and whichever receives the most likes in 24 hours will win a $75 gift card.
Ohio State’s Share the Road campaign is an educational initiative to promote safe behaviors when traveling around campus. We all share the road and responsibility when walking, biking, scooting or driving.
