Sexual Assault Awareness Month
Sexual Assault Awareness Month, led by the Student Life Student Wellness Center, is a university-wide collaboration to raise awareness about sexual violence and educate the Ohio State community on how to prevent it. From March 29 to April 22, a series of 31 events will take place virtually and will focus on empowering the community to prevent violence, support the healing process and advocate for survivors.
On April 13, join OSUPD online as they discuss the following topics:
- 1 - 2 p.m. - RAD: Self-Defense and Awareness
- Join OSUPD to be empowered by learning how your voice and physical strength can keep you safe. This session will focus on basic strategies and behavior identification.
- 6 - 7:30 p.m. - Meet the Process with OSUPD, Student Legal Services and SARNCO
- Join OSUPD, Student Legal Services, and SARNCO to discuss what a victim or a support person of a victim can expect from an investigation, adjudication, and victim advocacy processes. Powerpoint will be sent out prior if you would like to look over it!
Sexual Assault Awareness Month is open to all students, staff and faculty. For more information, event descriptions and registration link, visit go.osu.edu/saam.
