OSUPD to hold Memorial Ceremony on Friday, May 18 at 3 p.m.

The Ohio State University Police Division will participate in the annual Peace Officers Memorial Ceremony on Friday, May 18, at 3 p.m. outside Blankenship Hall, the building named in honor of OSUPD Officer Michael Blankenship. OSUPD will remember Officer Blankenship, who died in the line of duty in 1997. Respects will be paid to other officers who have lost their lives and the officers who continue to serve the university community. The event coincides with National Police Week, which was proclaimed in 1962 by President John F. Kennedy.

The public is invited to attend.
