Background/webcheck results may be picked up at the OSU Police department with a photo ID, during webcheck hours.
Electronic fingerprinting service - Webchecks
OSU Police utilize the National Webcheck program to meet the legislative requirements of academic programs, service programs, and licensure.
(Including, but not limited to education, educational research, nursing, medical and allied medical fields, youth camps, child care centers, vet med, agriculture and 4H, etc.)
You must be present for the check.
Where is the fingerprinting done?
OSU Police, Blankenship Hall, 901 Woody Hayes Drive, Main lobby.
When is this service available?
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 9:00-11:00am and 1:00-3:00pm.
Inked fingerprint cards:
BY APPOINTMENT ONLY (call 614-292-3595).
A few programs still require rolled fingerprint cards (SEC interns, law students).
The cards should be provided by your internship or academic office, brought to OSUPD
to be rolled, and will be returned to you for submission to your program or intern site.
Cost is $10 per rolled card.
What should I bring with me?
A government issued photo ID card, payment for the services, and the name and address of
the person receiving the results. If your program gave you a specific form, please bring
that as well. If you were not given a form, one will be provided at OSUPD.
(International students and job applicants who do not have a social security number, must provide a state ID and passport with current visa.)

$34 BCI&I Webcheck (Ohio)
$36 FBI Webcheck (national)
$58 Both (required for licensure and most academic programs)
$10 each for Rolled Cards (BY APPOINTMENT ONLY 614-292-3595)
Check, charge, Buck-ID, and eRequest (University offices) accepted for payment.
