You are receiving this notice because a crime has occurred that is considered to be of a concern and/or a continuing threat to the campus community.
The purpose of this message is to heighten your safety awareness by providing community members with information necessary to take appropriate precautions, enable you to take actions to help increase your safety, and to aid in the prevention of similar crimes.
On 7/12/22, at approximately 6:47 p.m., an aggravated burglary was reported to university police. Two unknown suspects tailgated into the Neil Building Hall Complex, located at 1578 Neil Avenue, entered an unlocked residence hall suite and began to steal property.
An Ohio State student entered the suite and one of the suspects pushed the student while the other suspect displayed a knife. Both suspects fled the residence hall, traveling south, with stolen property. No injuries were reported. Photos of the suspects are shown below.
